Kopar develops future circular economy solutions with EU support

Kopar has expanded its pilot plant to research and develop new material handling technologies that support the circular economy. Utilisation of industrial side streams and recycling of materials is a growing global need, and the development of these solutions creates new opportunities for sustainable growth.

The funding from the European Union will allow the pilot plant to be expanded to provide more comprehensive test and pilot processes before wider roll-out.

This will strengthen Kopar's research and development activities and accelerate the transition towards a cleaner and more resource-efficient industry.

The pilot plant will be used to research and develop solutions for:

  • Pneumatic transportation
  • Crushing and screening of material flows
  • Optimising new recycling processes

Kopar's solutions are particularly helpful:

  • Metallurgical industry
  • Battery value chain
  • Mineral industries
  • Circular economy projects

Our aim is to achieve controlled and profitable growth by providing technologies that support sustainable development globally.

Own technology and know-how are the cornerstones of Kopar's competitiveness. The EU-funded pilot plant will enable the development of new processes that reduce environmental impact and promote the efficient use of resources.
