However, the cooling rate is independent of particle size. Cooling from 900 \u00b0C to even 100 \u00b0C is possible in one unit, depending on application and capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cooling capacity of one drum is typically 10-50 t\/h and the cooling power 1-5 MW.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Cooling is based on the constant movement of the material inside water-cooled sections, thus efficiently combining heat conduction and, due to proper mixing, heat convection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooling drums can be retrofitted to the existing plant and its auxiliary equipment arrangements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>On the other hand, an entire system can be designed from scratch to meet the requirements of a new plant.<br><br>The drums are designed so that the complete system can be tested at our factory before shipping. The drum is supported on the rollers and rotated by either roller chain transmission or girth gear, depending on the size of the unit.
