Most materials stored in silos are dry and therefore dusty. For occupational health, safety, and environmental reasons, loading must be dust-free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kopar's automatic filling systems solve this challenge. The appropriate solution is chosen depending on whether the material is loaded into a closed tanker or container, or onto an open truck bed. Loading very dry material, such as fly ash, onto an open truck bed typically causes significant dust emissions. In wet discharge, the moisture content of the final product is adjusted so that the material does not produce dust. This way, dust emissions can be reduced to a minimum or eliminated entirely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the system, the material is fed through a wetting screw. The wetting screw is a two-threaded paddle mixer equipped with an adjustable water injection system. The entire setup also includes a fluidised silo base and a rotary feeder, which are also manufactured by Kopar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
